the "tapping" is some thing a parent came to bella's class to teach the kids as a way to calm down when you get upset. while it sounds impressive i can assure you it's not nearly as impressive as how marty can stay calm and reserved through a conversation like that. the fact that that discourse isn't riddled with expletives proves she's beyond superhuman really.
